I’ve been home more that a month and New York feels like a lifetime ago. Though I wouldn’t say my move over there was a raging success, I did get to do a lot while I was there. Hopefully when it’s safe to travel again this list might inspire you with a mixture of alternative and general things to do in New York.

Being a spectator of a baseball game in Yankee stadium
Being in the crowd for the lighting of the Rockfeller Tree
Sipping a hot chocolate on a roof top bar with a view of the Empire State Building
Exploring museums in Manhattan, from the MET to the Museum of Modern Art
Weekend trips to Washington DC and Philadelphia
Karoke in Korea town Bronx Zoo for a lantern of lights
Took in the view of Manhattan from the World Trade Center
Wandering around the New York Botanic Gardens
Watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade
Went to an improv performance (didn’t know what to expect but was hilarious)
Saw an Irish production of an off-Broadway performance at 59E59 theater
Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge
Crossed the East River on the Roosevelt Tram
Went through a global pandemic…!
